We ordered a mix of pakora as a starter, a lamb mango and a beryani with chicken from Lieferando (40 euros in total). It was all very tasty and the portions were good. Bread and yogurt were free. The food was delivered on time. It is really worth trying out if you are tired of pizza and burger. Thanks to the Safran team.
Delicious. Ordered it to take away and it was warm and just amazing!
Really delicious food, big portions, nice owners and quick preparation. One of our favorite Indian restaurants!
Highly recommended: delicious, fast and authentic!
If you like spiciness, this is the right place for you. The dishes are spicy but can also be spicy if desired.
PLEASE NOTE!!! You can currently still pick up the delicious food there because of the Corona requirements :) Was there today and it was delicious as always. Although the ambience is missing a bit, it was still very tasty. :) thanks for that
Very good Indian food. Highly recommended !!
Ok
We had reserved a table. Even on the phone, the service was not extremely personable. Maybe she was having a bad day? We went anyway. We immediately noticed the facility positively. Everything is very tastefully designed and clean. Unfortunately, the service didn't make a good impression here either. She was stressed and a little impatient when we took our order. No sooner had the order been ordered, we should please hurry to eat, because there would still be a lot of people coming today. Please leave or be ready in an hour. That's not how you treat your guests! What do we reserve for? We didn't feel well after this request, rather as uninvited guests! I can understand that one day before the 2nd lockdown one is tense, but that is how one grieves the customers! The food was good. But as above average as it is advertised, we cannot confirm it. Very mild! When we left we noticed that there were a lot of tables free. You could have lingered a little longer and perhaps treated yourself to a cocktail. We will not visit this restaurant again and we do not recommend it to anyone.
Eating out differently. We liked it a lot. It was very tasty and the service was nice and friendly.
Very well! Service, nice and friendly.
The best Indian Restaurant in Bremen. Being myself from India, felt like being at home. Please do meet Mr.Waqar to have a little talk on food. Loved the Food...👌👌👌👌👌 🧄🧅🌶🥘🥗🍻🍷🥂🍽
We had pre-ordered Butter Chicken and Chicken Vindaloo to take away. I was there at the agreed time, the meal was just ready. The handover was a bit short and my question about the possibility of EC payment was not answered. However, the food was excellent. Not cheap but very tasty. I will gladly come again.
Awesome food with good ambience.
A spontaneous meeting took us to the Indian Ocean :-) The tables were clean, the service very friendly and quick. The prices are in the RRR, BUT it's really worth it. The food is nicely prepared and spicy also means spicy here. We recommend.
Always delicious. The service is always friendly and the price-performance ratio is very consistent. 5 stars from us :)
good Indian food in Bremen. Esp the kadai paneer is top notch.
Finest indian restaurant in Bremen. Just on the way back home from Safran ! Will surely recommend it
Overall good. The selection is okay for vegetarians, but small for vegans. The food was delicious, the service good and friendly. Prices are ok. If you want the food spicy, you should let them know, our food was very mildly seasoned. The naan bread that was served with the meal was unfortunately not very fresh, but nonetheless good. We would recommend it because the food and service were good and we had a nice evening. If you eat vegan, you should let them know right at the beginning, as they serve papadums with sauces that contain dairy products before eating.
The food was not the only thing that astonishes this inn! In fact, I really like trying out new restaurants and I am constantly looking for new restaurants, but I will remain true to this restaurant. The decoration on the squares and in the entire restaurant is appropriate and beautiful. The bathroom is always clean and all in all the restaurant gives a very good impression. From our point of view a visit is highly recommended. The professionalism of the waiters are really impressive.
Delicious! We have been here a few times now. It is always special. The ambience is warm and cozy, the service very nice. The dishes were all delicious. The pieces of meat are super tender and the sauces are a poem!
Dishes we tried were delicious (chicken masala and lamb madras) and well served with excellent rice.
Super delicious Indian food! Nice staff, nice atmosphere. You cook here with love, you can taste it. We would love to come back!
Really delicious place to get Indian food. They also serve "thali style," which means you get multiple small bowls of different dishes along with rice. Perfect for if you want to try a few different things but are dining by yourself or with only one other. Staff is very nice and the dining hall is beautifully decorated. Given the quantity and quality of the food, this place is affordable (13-14 € for a main dish).
Delicious Indian Food and peace environment.
I strongly suggest to try Safrani Thali (for non vegetarian) varieties! It is the best option to try different varieties in reasonable price! In vegetarian, Kadai paneer was amazing. It was good experience compared to other indian restaurants in Europe. However, frucht lassi was not good but main course was really tasty. All in all, I suggest to go and try Thali! Guten Appetit!
I am very surprised by all the positive reviews. Indian is my favorite food, so I have eaten at dozens of Indian restaurants in both Germany and the United States. And I have Indian friends whose home cooking I try at every opportunity. The food I had at Safran was NOT good. I love spicy (“scharf”) food but have learned not to ask for “Indian spicy”. Regardless, many Indian spices are naturally spicy, so good Indian food has to be spicy, something I have learned from cooking it myself. I cannot even consider the 3 lunch special dishes I had (“Thali Mittagtisch”) at Safran as mild, because that implies they still had an element of spice. They were disappointingly bland. Additionally, the lunch special they posted online included a soup. I figured they forgot the soup with my takeout order, so I went back and was told the soup is only for dining in. Umm, it does not say that on your website and I paid the same price, so…
Decent food, with good access for strollers and wheelchair. A bit expensive and the service could be a bit better. Bit the ambient is great.
We came here specifically because the place has its own tandoor. We were not disappointed, the scenery was cute, the service friendly and the food was delicious. We will definitely come back. Recommended!
If the waiter had not forgotten to bring the appetizer that would be a perfectly rounded evening. The food tastes really excellent and is also very cheap. Unfortunately no card payment possible here. Would still come again.
We were a group of six adults and two babies. We managed to fit two prams and a high chair at the table. Waiters all spoke English and were very friendly. Service for lunch was quick, the food was really tasty, plates were taken away quickly. The price was very good for food quantity and quality. My husband and I are definitely going to return here soon.
Excellent food. Great service. Loved it
Delicious food The food is just delicious The complex is typically Indian Bremen's best restaurant
We were here for the first time in the Indian food and loved it. The non-vegetarian lunch menu was ordered for 7.99. You can already get an idea about the Indian food. It was tasty, spicy and reasonably hot. You will definitely be full. Is recommended.
Decent food, decent staff. Our waitress spoke in Urdu which was a surprise :)
I like this restaurant very good working 🍜🍛🍚🥘🍲🥗🍿🍱🍝🍧🍨🍧🥛🍸🍷🍺🍹🍻🥂🍵🍾🍽️🍴🥄
The place is cozy with pleasing music. The starters could be improved. The tandoor sizzlers were good with a touch of the tikka sauce that was serverd separately was excellent. The lunch was excellent, worth the price. Good Indian food.
The food was not tasty, the naan we ordered was not like naan.. it was more like turkish bread very thick. The curry was very sweet even though we asked them to make it extremely spicy. The veg biryani was also kind of sweet and tasted more like normal plain rice with vegetables than veg biryani. The waitress served us naan alone and made us wait for curry for 30 mins and when we asked her that we needed curry to eat with naan, she told us that naan is an appetizer we have to eat it first and then she will serve us curry. We could not pay with card because their card machine dint work so we had to walk for an ATM and get cash to pay them. Had a very bad experience except the owner was nice person. Would not recommend it to people who wants proper spicy indian food.
Best in Bremen loved food
Finally found a place in Bremen that actually serves spicy food when you request 'Indian Spicy' (and they don't just give you a chili paste to spice up to your liking)! Service and quality was great. Portions were better than expected. Definitely going back!
Food is ok ....
This is the best place to have Indian food in Bremen. They serve the best Biryani in the town.
Delicious food. Good educated staff. Owner is very friendly. My personal recommendation.
The service was amazing. Very friendly. Meal needs some improvement, however.
